IOWA CITY – The Iowa baseball team’s Friday game against Northwestern, scheduled for 6 p.m. at Duane Banks Field, has been postponed due to rain. The two teams hope to play their four-game series with doubleheaders Saturday and Sunday.
Saturday’s twin-bill will start at 1 p.m. with one nine-inning contest followed by a seven-inning game. Sunday’s doubleheader will also start at 1 p.m. with a seven-inning game, followed by a nine-inning contest.
Iowa has won five of its last six contests, including four straight, while Northwestern has won five of its last seven.
