IOWA CITY – The University of Iowa baseball team’s 2008 recruiting class has been ranked by a major collegiate baseball publications.
The Iowa coaching staff landed the 49th-best class according to Perfect Game Cross Checker.
Iowa’s ranking of 49 by Perfect Game Cross Checker is the highest of any Big Ten team. The next two conference schools behind the Hawkeyes were Michigan (72) and Illinois (84).
Iowa’s recruiting class consists of Nick Brown, Sean Flanagan, Cory Glieden, Jarred Hippen, Mike McQuillan, Zach Robertson, Phil Schreiber and Chett Zeise.
