IOWA CITY, IA — University of Iowa Head Coach Jack Dahm announced today a schedule change to their last non-conference game. Instead of playing Western Illinois, the Hawkeyes will now play St. Ambrose on Tuesday, May 18 at 6:35 p.m. at Modern Woodmen Park in Davenport.
The switch in opponents was necessary due to changes in Western Illinois’ conference schedule after one of its student-athletes, Devin VanBrooker, died from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident on May 4.
Iowa will host Ohio State, as scheduled, this weekend in a three-game series. Game one is slated for 6:05 p.m. at Duane Banks Field in Iowa City. Admission is $3 for adults and free for UI students and youths.
