IOWA CITY – Space is still available for next week’s Iowa baseball youth and fundamental camps at Duane Banks Field in Iowa City. The camps range in ages. Players will receive instruction from the University of Iowa coaching staff along with players from the Hawkeye baseball team.
Instruction will include basic and advanced skill work in different aspects of the game. Those interested must register online at www.iowabaseballcamps.com. Questions regarding Hawkeye baseball camps should contact Zach Dillon at zach-dillon@iowabaseball.com.
The Iowa baseball team is coming off a fantastic finish to its 2010 season, winning 11 of its last 14 contests, tied for third place in the Big Ten regular season and finished runner-up at the conference tournament last week.
