Mediacom has announced it will televise eight University of Iowa athletic events this winter. The broadcast schedule includes three men’s basketball games, four women’s basketball games and one wrestling dual.
Head Coach Fran McCaffery and the Hawkeye men’s basketball team will make the first appearance on Mediacom Nov. 26 vs. IPFW at noon. Next will be a matchup against Central Arkansas Dec. 19 at 7 p.m., followed by a men’s and women’s basketball doubleheader Dec. 22. The Iowa women take on Mississippi Valley State at 5 p.m. and the men will follow against Boise State at 7:30 p.m.
Head Coach Lisa Bluder’s women’s basketball team will be on Mediacom Dec. 20 vs. Drake at 7 p.m. After the Dec. 22 doubleheader, Iowa’s next game on Mediacom will be Dec. 30 against Northwestern at 7 p.m. The final Mediacom telecast will be Jan. 5 against Illinois at 7 p.m.
Head Coach Tom Brands and the Iowa wrestling team will face Northwestern Dec. 15. The start time for that dual is still to be determined.
