UI Now Selling Single-Game Tickets for Fran's Squad

IOWA CITY, Iowa – Single-game tickets to the all home events of the 2011-12 University of Iowa men’s basketball team are now available for purchase including the season opener Friday, Nov. 11, against Chicago State, Iowa’s Big Ten-ACC Challenge game against Clemson later this month, and the entire nine-game home schedule against Big Ten Conference opponents.

Fans of Coach Fran McCaffery’s Hawkeyes also still have the option of purchasing season tickets and selecting from four different packages of tickets.

Single-game ticket prices range from $12 for many non-conference games to $20 for the Big Ten-ACC event and games against Big Ten opponents played on weekdays to $25 for Iowa’s game against intrastate rival Drake and games against Big Ten opponents played on weekends.

A discount-priced youth ticket is available for all home events. The cost ranges from $5 to $15 depending on the opponent and day of the week.

Season tickets cost $296 each for the general public, $252 for UI faculty and staff, and $90 for UI students. Packages of games played on weeknights are available at $95 and $140 each; packages of games played on weekdays cost $150 and $174.

Fans can purchase single-game tickets over the phone by calling 1-800 IA-HAWKS, online at hawkeyesports.com by clicking HERE, or at the UI Athletics Ticket Office location in Carver-Hawkeye Arena.

Fans purchasing season tickets also have the opportunity to select their seat location this year as part of the multi-million dollar renovation of Carver-Hawkeye Arena.
