IOWA CITY, Iowa — University of Iowa head wrestling coach Tom Brands will preview the 2011-12 season Wednesday, Nov. 9, with a press conference to kick off the team’s annual media day.
Brands will address the media at 2:45 p.m. (CT) inside the Feller Club Room at Carver-Hawkeye Arena.
The visit with local, regional and national media will be available live from start to finish on Hawkeye All-Access, the multi-media portal inside hawkeyesports.com, the official World Wide Web of the Iowa Hawkeyes.
Brands and the Hawkeyes have compiled a record of 83-1-1 over the past four seasons, with seven Big Ten Conference champions and five NCAA champions. Iowa opens the 2011-12 season Saturday, Nov. 19, at the Lindenwood (Mo.) University Open.
