Bluder Live Wednesday

IOWA CITY, Iowa — University of Iowa head women’s basketball coach Lisa Bluder will meet the media at 11:30 a.m. (CT) Wednesday to talk about the Hawkeyes’ upcoming Big Ten Conference game against Wisconsin on Thursday, Jan. 24.

The weekly briefing with local, regional and national media will be held in the Media Room inside Carver-Hawkeye Arena, and be available live from start to finish on Hawkeye All-Access, the multimedia portal inside hawkeyesports.com, the official worldwide website of the Iowa Hawkeyes.

Wisconsin (9-10 overall, 1-5 Big Ten) is coming off a 68-49 win at home against Ohio State — its first league victory of the season. The Badgers are led in scoring by junior Morgan Paige, a native of Marion, Iowa. Paige averages 16.5 points per game.

Iowa (14-5, 3-2) is 9-2 on Mediacom Court inside Carver-Hawkeye Arena this season, including a 62-46 victory against No. 11 Purdue on Jan. 20. The Hawkeyes have won 11 in a row against Wisconsin, counting a 65-56 decision Jan. 10 in Madison, Wis.
