IOWA CITY, Iowa — The University of Iowa baseball team will host four games and the Black and Gold World Series at Duane Banks Field during its fall ball season.
The Hawkeyes will take the field for the first time under UI head coach Rick Heller on Sept. 16, facing off against the Ontario Blue Jays beginning at 3:30 p.m. (CT). On Sept. 20, the day before the Iowa football team faces Western Michigan, the squad will host Kirkwood Community College at 4 p.m.
Following a two-week break from games, the Hawkeyes will host Iowa Central Community College during Homecoming weekend. The game against the Tritons will begin at 4 p.m. on Oct. 4. On Oct. 9, Iowa will welcome DMACC to Banks Field for a 3:30 p.m. start.
On Oct. 14-16, the Hawkeyes will compete in the Black & Gold World Series.
The complete 2014 spring schedule will be released once finalized.
