IOWA CITY, Iowa — The UI Athletics Ticket Office will release additional tickets to all remaining home games of the 2013-14 UI men’s basketball team tomorrow, the UI Athletics Department announced today. The additional tickets were being held back to fulfill UI student, faculty and staff, and general public season ticket package requests.
On Tuesday, current season ticket holders and members of the National I-Club are invited to purchase single-game tickets online via the UI Athletics Ticket Office portal on hawkeyesports com – click HERE — over the phone by calling 1-800 IA-HAWKS, or at the UI Athletics Ticket Office location in Carver-Hawkeye Arena. Sales will begin at 9 a.m. (CT).
On Wednesday, any unsold tickets will be available for purchase by the general public via the web, over the phone, or over the counter. Sales will begin at 9 a.m. (CT).
Tickets are available for all 12 of Iowa’s remaining home games. That schedule includes nine Big Ten Conference games, the 2013 Big Ten-ACC Challenge game against Notre Dame (Dec. 3), and nonconference games against Fairleigh Dickinson (Dec. 9) and Arkansas-Pine Bluff (Dec. 22).
There are no limits to the number of tickets that can be purchased per game with the following exceptions: A limit of four (4) tickets for Iowa’s games weekday games against Notre Dame and Michigan State, and all of Iowa’s games against Big Ten opponents played on either Saturday or Sunday.
The Hawkeyes are currently 5-0 and ranked 25th nationally. Iowa’s next three games will be played in the Battle 4 Atlantis in the Bahamas over the Thanksgiving holiday.
Fans of the Hawkeyes are also reminded that tickets are available for the 2013 Hy-Vee Big Four Classic at Wells Fargo Arena in Des Moines on Saturday, Dec. 7. Tickets for that men’s college basketball doubleheader that starts with Iowa State playing Northern Iowa at 5 p.m. (CT) and concludes with Iowa playing Drake at 7:30 p.m. (CT) can be purchased by calling 866-553-2457 or by visiting any Dahl’s Foods location.
