Cafone started all 18 contests as a junior pacing an Iowa offensive attack that ranked ninth nationally, averaging over three goals per game. The Fairfield, New Jersey, native was named Big Ten Offensive Player of the Year after leading the league in goals per game (1.00) and points per game (2.33). Cafone climbed on the program’s all-time top-10 goals list on Oct. 25, scoring her 48th career goal in Iowa’s 4-0 win over No. 4 Penn State.

Norlander finished her sophomore season second on the team in scoring with 35 points on 15 goals and five assists. The North Vancouver native finished 13th nationally in goals per game (.83) and 19th nationally in points per game (1.94). Norlander — a first-team All-Big Ten honoree — earned Big Ten Offensive Player of the Week on Sept. 30, after scoring a hat trick against Missouri State (Sept. 28). Norlander, who also recorded a hat trick against Ball State on Oct. 3, led the Hawkeyes in game-winning goals (4).

Hemeon finished her senior season third on the team in scoring with 22 points on nine goals and four assists. The Gilroy, California, native also paced the Hawkeyes in defensive saves (5). Hemeon’s season was highlighted by two game winners and a hat trick in Iowa’s 8-0 win over Ball State (Sept. 28). Hemeon will participate in her final collegiate contest at the NFHCA Division I Senior Game on Saturday, Nov. 22, at the University of Maryland in College Park, Maryland.

The 2014 Longstreth/NFHCA Division I All-American Teams will be announced on Dec. 1st.
