IOWA CITY, Iowa — Former University of Iowa NCAA champions Brent Metcalf and Tony Ramos compete at the 2015 UWW World Championships this week at Orleans Arena in Las Vegas.
Metcalf, ranked No. 2 in the world and the defending Pan Am Games champion at 65 kg/143 lbs., competes Thursday in the World Championships for the fourth time. He was a member of Team USA at the World Championships in 2010, 2013, and 2014.
Ramos, ranked 17th in the world at 57 kg/125.5 lbs. competes Saturday in his second World Championships. He was a member of Team USA in 2014.

ESPN2 will televise the championships Thursday at 7 p.m. (CT) and Sunday at 7:30 p.m.
