IOWA CITY, Iowa — A shift in the weather forecast has forced the University of Iowa baseball team to cancel its recently added March 1 home game against Loras College. The game will not be made up.
The Hawkeyes’ home opener shifts back to March 8 when the team welcomes Northwestern (Iowa) College to Duane Banks Field for a 3 p.m. contest.
Iowa is back in action today in Port Charlotte, Florida, facing Indiana State at 1 p.m. (CT).
