IOWA CITY, Iowa — Friday’s series opener between the University of Iowa baseball team and Illinois has been postponed because of the projected cold temperatures and high winds. The game will be made up as part of a Saturday doubleheader beginning at 12:35 p.m. (CT).
PARKING NOTE:
There will be a parking cost of $10 for fans arriving before 12 p.m. (CT) in the lots around Duane Banks Field and Carver-Hawkeye Arena. The University of Iowa is hosting this weekend’s 2016 U.S. Olympic Team Trials.
There will be no charge for parking for fans arriving after 12 p.m.
The third and final game of the weekend series is still slated for a 1:05 p.m. start Sunday.
