IOWA CITY, Iowa — University of Iowa head wrestling coach Tom Brands will meet with media Wednesday at approximately 2:30 p.m. (CT) in the Feller Club Room at Carver-Hawkeye Arena.
The briefing with local, regional and national media will be available live from start to finish on Hawkeye All-Access, the multi-media portal inside hawkeyesports.com, the official worldwide website of the Iowa Hawkeyes.
The Hawkeyes finished 16-1 in dual matches last season, 9-0 in the Big Ten Conference. They were runner-up at the Big Ten Championships to Penn State.
Iowa returns All-Americans Thomas Gilman (125 pounds), Cory Clark (133), Brandon Sorensen (149), Alex Meyer (174) and Sammy Brooks (184).
The Hawkeyes open the season Nov. 12 at the Luther Open; their first home event is the Iowa City Duals on Nov. 18.
