IOWA CITY, Iowa — The National Wrestling Coaches Association announced Monday that the University of Iowa wrestling program will meet Edinboro University on Saturday, Feb. 18, at the 2017 NWCA Division I Dual Championship Series.

Edinboro, champions of the Eastern Wrestling League and ranked No. 24 in the USA Today/NWCA Division I Coaches Poll, host the third-ranked Hawkeyes at McComb Fieldhouse in Edinboro, Pennsylvania. The dual starts at 6 p.m. (CT) and will be streamed live on FloWrestling.com.

The Hawkeyes (12-2) are 7-0 all-time against the Fighting Scots (8-5), having won the last meeting 22-19 at Edinboro on Dec. 5, 2013.

The Iowa-Edinboro dual is one of eight in a Dual Championship Series that includes the top eight teams from the Big Ten against eight of the top schools from outside the conference. This is the second year in row the NWCA has executed a Bowl-style format. In 2016, the Dual Championship Series was hosted on the campuses of Big Ten schools. Big Ten Conference schools will be visitors in 2017.
