IOWA CITY, Iowa — The University of Iowa baseball team will host its spring golf tournament Friday, May 12 at Finkbine Golf Course in Iowa City, Iowa. The four-person best-shot format will begin with a 10 a.m. (CT) shotgun start.

The entry fee is $150 per person or $600 per foursome, which includes green fees, range balls, cart, lunch, and an appreciation gift. Flight and raffle prizes will be awarded. Proceeds will benefit the Hawkeyes’ baseball program.

Tee box sponsorships are available for $100, which includes tee box signage and recognition during the tournament program following golf.

Iowa baseball will also be teaming up with Launching Fore Charity to raise money for the program’s upcoming trip to Taiwan. Launching Fore Charity is a company with a patented golf ball cannon, giving players the option to shoot their own golf ball upwards of 400-500 yards and use it as their own shot.
