EAST LANSING, Michigan — Brackets have been released for the 2018 Big Ten Wrestling Championships in East Lansing, Michigan. The two-day tournament begins Saturday at 9 a.m. CT.
Eight Hawkeyes are seeded and all 10 wrestlers learned their draw at Friday afternoon’s coaches meeting.
Big Ten coaches voted Friday to seed Michael Kemerer at the top spot at 157. Penn State’s Jason Nolf is the No. 2 seed at 157.
Three Hawkeyes are seeded No. 2 — Spencer Lee (125), Brandon Sorensen (149), and Alex Marinelli (165). Other seeded Hawkeyes include Joey Gunther (No. 7 at 174), Cash Wilcke (No. 3 at 197), and Sam Stoll (No. 4 at 285). Paul Glynn (133), Vince Turk (141), and Mitch Bowman (184) enter the tournament unseeded.
