Field Hockey Closes Spring Slate on Saturday

IOWA CITY, Iowa — The University of Iowa field hockey team concludes its 2018 spring season with a pair of games on Saturday at Grant Field.

The Hawkeyes begin the tournament with a bout against Northwestern at 12 p.m. (CT). Following the conclusion of the first game, Iowa will face off against Saint Louis at approximately 2 p.m.

This tournament marks the team’s third event this spring. The Hawkeyes previously competed in the Louisville Spring Tournament on April 7-8 with Michigan, Michigan State, Indiana, Miami (Ohio), and Louisville. On April 14-15, Iowa was in Ann Arbor, Michigan, for the Wolverine’s spring tournament along with Ohio State, Northwestern, Louisville, Michigan and Michigan State.

Gates open at Grant Field at 11 a.m. Admission to the event is free.
