ST. CHARLES, Missouri — University of Iowa senior Vince Turk and freshman Zach Glazier won tournament titles Saturday at the Lindenwood Open in St. Charles, Missouri.
Turk recorded two technical falls and one major decision to win the 149-pound open division. It is his second tournament title in as many weeks. He won the Luther Open on Nov. 16.
Glazier won his first college tournament, registering a pair of falls and two major decisions en route the 197-pound bracket in the fresh/soph division.
Iowa returns to the mat Sunday in the Iowa Corn Cy-Hawk Series. The Hawkeyes and Cyclones meet at 2 p.m. (CT) at Hilton Coliseum.
