PEORIA, Ariz. – The University of Iowa women’s golf team finished the first two rounds of the Westbrook Invitational on Sunday. The Hawkeyes head into the final round in 15th place with a team score of 585 (+9).
HOW IT HAPPENED
Freshman Morgan Goldstein led the Hawkeyes with a 36-hole score of 144 (E). Goldstein is tied for 34th and sank six birdies.
Freshman Jacquelyn Galloway will go into the final round tied for 48th with a score of 146 (+2). Galloway completed 27 holes at par and carded four birdies.
Junior Stephanie Herzog is tied for 53rd and fired a two-round score of 147 (+3). Herzog sank four birdies.
Freshman Lea Zeitler is tied for 59th with a 36-hole score of 148 (+4). Zeitler carded two birdies and finished 28 of 36 holes at par.
Sophomore Manuela Lizarazu shot a two-round score of 152 (+8) and is tied for 79th. Lizarazu garnered one birdie and finished 26 holes at par.
The Hawkeyes will compete in the final round of the Westbrook Invitational Monday at 7:30 a.m. (CT). Fans can follow the final round on birdiefire.com.
