Iowa Opens Fall Season on Wednesday

IOWA CITY, Iowa – The University of Iowa baseball team will open its fall season Wednesday, hosting the Mississauga Tigers at 3 p.m. (CT) at Duane Banks Field.

Admission is free, but fans are encouraged to bring non-perishable food items and hygienic products to donate to the Food Pantry at Iowa. A donation bin will be at the entrance to Banks Field for all of our fall games.

The Hawkeyes return five positional starters, including All-Big Ten second baseman Izaya Fullard, two weekend starting pitchers and a total of 20 letterwinners from a team that finished 26-18 overall against a Big Ten only schedule to tie for fourth in the regular season standings.
