Iowa, Michigan Game Sold Out

IOWA CITY, Iowa – The University of Iowa women’s basketball game versus No. 6 Michigan, scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 27 inside Carver-Hawkeye Arena is sold out. The announcement was made Friday by the UI Athletics Department. Tipoff is at 3 p.m. (CT) and will be televised on ESPN2.

It is the first sell out for the women’s basketball team since Jan. 31, 1988 when Iowa defeated Ohio State, 75-64.

Iowa (19-7; 13-4) has won three straight games, including back-to-back wins over top-10-ranked Indiana. Sunday’s contest will be Iowa’s second meeting with the Wolverines this season. Michigan defeated Iowa, 98-90, in Ann Arbor on Sunday, Feb. 6.

Doors will open 90 minutes prior to tipoff on Sunday to accommodate the crowd. Parking is free for all fans. The Hancher Cambus Shuttle will also be available, beginning at 1:30 p.m. and operating postgame. For all the latest information, visit hawkeyesports.com/wbbgameday.
