IOWA CITY, Iowa – Single game tickets for University of Iowa men’s and women’s basketball will go on sale to the general public on Thursday through the UI Athletics Ticket Office.

The Hawkeye women will play 17 home contests, which includes nine Big Ten contests, seven nonconference, and one exhibition. Six of the 17 opponents that will make the trip to Iowa City made the NCAA Tournament a year ago.

Single game tickets for weekday and nonconference women’s basketball games are $12 for adults/senior and $5 for youth (18 & under). Tickets for conference weekend and Iowa State are $15 for adults/seniors and $8 for youth.

Since 2008, Lisa Bluder’s teams own a 213-41 record inside of Carver-Hawkeye Arena. In that stretch, the Hawkeyes have posted three undefeated seasons at home. Over the last eight years, Iowa has dropped the second-fewest regular season home games in the Big Ten.

The Hawkeye men will play 18 home games on Mediacom Court at Carver-Hawkeye Arena, including 10 Big Ten contests, seven nonconference, and one exhibition.

Over the last decade, Fran McCaffery’s squads have won 85 percent of their home games. The Hawkeyes have won 14 or more home contests each of the past four seasons.
