IOWA CITY, Iowa – University of Iowa sophomore wrestler Cullan Schriever has been named to the College Sports Communicators (formerly CoSIDA) At-Large Academic All-District team, it was announced Tuesday by the organization.
Schriever is majoring in finance where he has a 4.14 grade point average.
The Mason City, Iowa, native posted an 11-6 overall record during the 2022-23 season, competing at 133 pounds. Schriever, who was ranked as high as No. 13 nationally during the season, won titles at both the Luther Open and Soldier Salute.
With his inclusion on the all-district team, Schriever advances to the national ballot. To qualify for the distinction, each student-athlete was required to post at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average while seeing action in a minimum threshold of competitions.
