Hawkeyes To Face Georgia in Athens

IOWA CITY, Iowa – The University of Iowa baseball team travels to Athens, Georgia, on Tuesday for a midweek matchup with the Georgia Bulldogs at 4 p.m. (CT).

The Hawkeyes enter the contest with a 7-8 record, and the Bulldogs come into the contest with a 16-1 record.

As a team, Georgia is hitting .336 and its pitching staff has a 3.73 ERA. They are led by Charlie Condon with a .565 batting average, and Condon and Slate Alford lead the team with 25 RBIs.

Overall, the Hawkeyes are hitting .285 as a team, while averaging 8.2 runs per game. The Iowa pitching staff has a 6.01 ERA.

Sam Petersen leads the team with a .379 batting average. Kyle Huckstorf leads the team with 20 RBIs followed by Raider Tello with 17.
