2009 as a Senior… Started all 19 games… named second team NFHCA West Region all-American… ranked tied for third on team in total points (17), fourth in goals (seven) and third in assists (three)… recorded one game-winning goal.

2008 as a Junior… Started all 23 games… posted four points on a goal and two assists… started for Iowa in national semifinal game against top-seeded Maryland… registered an assist at Indiana and vs. Central Michigan… scored the game-winning goal vs. American… had 16 shots, 13 on goal (81.3%)… started all three games in helping Iowa claim its third-straight Big Ten Tournament title… helped lead Hawkeyes to back-to-back NCAA Regional victories over #13 Louisville and #10 Michigan State.

2007 as a Sophomore… Started 20 of Iowa’s 21 games… letterwinner… recorded five goals and three assists (13 points)… collected first career goal against Fairfield…. recorded two goals in the Big Ten Championship game against Michigan.

2006 as a Freshman… Played in all 21 games… attempted a total of seven shots.

High School… Won two state championships during junior and senior years, with team suffering only one loss during those two seasons … a first team all-Lehigh Valley Conference, all-area, and all-state selection during junior and senior campaigns… as a senior was a first team all-American, first team regional all-American and was her team[apos]s Most Valuable Player… scored 64 goals and dished out 62 assists during four year career… helped lead Emmaus to four district titles… holds the school record for assists in consecutive games played … high school and FireStyx club coach was Sue Butz-Stavin… Futures Elite participant from 2003-2006… club team placed first in National Futures Tournament in 2004 and 2005… 2004 Junior Olympian… participated in 2005 Canada vs. American Challenge… 2005 Futures Developmental Invitational Camp participant… varsity letterwinner in track.

Personal… Born February 21, 1988… daughter of Robert and Paula Werley… has a sister, Cindy, and a brother, Scott… Cindy played field hockey at North Carolina… leisure studies and therapeutic recreation major.
