The Badgers scored the game’s first goal in the 12th minute. Lindsey Walker assisted Katy Lindenmuth, who then sent a shot across the net to put Wisconsin up 1-0.

Iowa answered at the 23:05 mark when junior Kitty Montgomery scored an unassisted goal. Montgomery sent a rocket into the net from 25 yards out to even up the score. It was Montgomery’s first career goal for the Hawkeyes.

The Badgers out shot Iowa, 14-10. Vogele stopped seven shots in the contest.

Iowa will travel to Minneapolis, MN, on Sunday to take on the Golden Gophers. The game, which will be played at Lyle Robbie Stadium, begins at 1 p.m.
