I-380 Corridor Classic Postponed

April 20, 2004

Tonight’s inaugural I-380 Corridor Classic has been postponed due to inclement weather. The highly anticipated baseball event between Northern Iowa (13-18) and Iowa (10-22) is rescheduled for tomorrow at 6:30 p.m. at Veterans Memorial Stadium in Cedar Rapids.

Tickets for the event remain on sale thru the Cedar Rapids Kernels Ticket Office. Prices are $8 for reserved seating, $5 for bleacher and lawn seats and $20 for all you can eat and drink in the patio section.

Hawkeye baseball fans who purchased tickets to the I-380 Corridor Classic and are not able to attend the make-up game Wednesday night at Veterans Memorial Stadium in Cedar Rapids, can redeem their ticket for any remaining home Iowa baseball game or doubleheader this season at Duane Banks Field.

Fans who wish to take advantage of this opportunity can bring their “entire” ticket to an Iowa baseball game this year and will be admitted free. Please note that ticket stubs will not be honored at the Duane Banks Field admission gate, only those tickets that have not been torn.
