EAST LANSING, MI — The No. 34 Iowa women’s gymnastics team competed in East Lansing, MI today at the Big Ten Championships. Iowa placed sixth with a 193.425.
On vault, Jennifer Simbhudas placed highest for the Hawkeyes with a 9.725 to tie for 19th place. Senior Kortny Williamson tied for 25th with a 9.7 and senior Liz Grajewski tied for 32nd place with a 9.65.
On bars, Beth Dilick had the highest placing for the Hawkeyes tying for tenth place with a 9.75. Katie Burke posted a 9.7 to tie for 19th and Grajewski tied for 24th, posting a 9.675.
On beam, Williamson tied for ninth, posting a score of 9.775, while Grajewski tied for 15th with a 9.725 and Danielle Legeai tied for 20th, scoring 9.7.
On floor, Williamson tied for 11th with a 9.825 to lead the Hawkeyes in the event. Simbhudas was the next highest placed Hawkeye on the event, scoring 9.8, tying for 15th place while Legeai tied for 22nd with a 9.75.
In the all-around, Grajewski placed sixth with a 38.7.
