“Thorson threw a great game, we would have liked to put the ball in play a little bit more, they have some great hitters and they did the most with their at-bats. I have to tip my hat to our team that when we got down by four we still kept playing and we forced some errors, and our speed really forced some things and we were about one execution from trying to tie it up. It was a tough loss but we really need to put it behind us and get ready for the next game.”

“This was a tremendous win for us today against a great team from Nebraska.We’re used to having tough games against them and today we had a great pitching performance from our pitcher Kristina Thorson.
We were a little disappointed with our defense and we’ll have to pick things up for our game tomorrow. We know whomever we will play tomorrow it will be a great game. All the teams here have great pitching staff and are great defensive teams and we’re looking forward to tomorrow’s championship game.”
