Peevler Takes Sixth At Bruce Fossum Invitational

EAST LANSING, MI – The Iowa men’s golf team played the final round of the Bruce Fossum Invitational Sunday at the Forest Akers West Golf Course in East Lansing, MI. The Hawkeyes finished with a score of 875 to tie for eighth place. Michigan State won the tournament with a score of 841.

Sophomore Cole Peevler was the top finisher for Iowa. He shot a 74 in the final round and finished in sixth place. Senior Jon Feldick finished tied for 16th with a total score of 215. Junior Dan Holterhaus posted a final round score of 78 to finish tied for 47th. Senior Bennet Hammerberg tied for 57th place with a total score of 227. Sophomore Zack Anderson rounded out the Hawkeye delegation in 66th place with a score of 232.

The Hawkeyes will compete in the Big Ten Championships April 27-29 in Columbus, OH.
