“Our doubles results were very strong this weekend. I’m very excited that a couple of our doubles teams have really formed,” said Iowa Head Coach Daryl Greenan. “We won fifty percent of our matches this weekend so we had the right kind of competition and overall we competed even better than we did last weekend in Tuscaloosa, AL. This is only our second tournament of the year so I think we are in a pretty good spot right now, but we know we have a lot of work to get ourselves ready to do well in the Big Ten in the spring.”
The Hawkeyes will continue competition October 19-24, at the Wilson/ITA Midwest Regional Championships in Ann Arbor, MI.
