IOWA CITY – The University of Iowa softball team is ranked 25th in this week’s USA Today/National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) Top 25 poll. This week marks the first time this season the Hawkeyes have appeared in the Top 25.
Iowa has been listed as receiving votes in eight polls so far this season before cracking the Top 25.
The nationally-ranked Hawkeyes return to action Friday against Wisconsin. First pitch is scheduled for 6 p.m. at Pearl Field.
