IOWA CITY – University of Iowa softball fans can now purchase season tickets for the upcoming season. Head Coach Gayle Blevins and the Hawkeyes will host 15 games at Pearl Field this season.
The general public and UI Faculty/Staff can purchase reserved season tickets for only $20. The public can also buy general admission season tickets for $15, while faculty/staff can obtain general admission tickets for only $12. There is a $6 handling fee per order. UI students, along with youth 18 and younger, are admitted free to any home game.

The Hawkeyes will kick off the 2009 season by hosting the fifth annual “Meet the Hawks” night Tuesday, Feb. 3, at 6 p.m. on the second level of the Paul W. Brechler Press Box inside Kinnick Stadium.
The event, which includes appetizers and refreshments, is free to the public. The doors will open at 6 p.m. and fans will be able to meet both coaches and players. Posters and schedule cards will be available for autographs as well. A short program featuring Coach Blevins and selected players along with video highlights will begin around 6:30 p.m.
Once again, the event is free, but fans interested in attending should RSVP to the Iowa Sports Marketing office at (319) 335-9431.
