Iowa Completes Play At Seminole Quad Tournament

The University of Iowa women’s tennis team completed play at the Seminole Quad tournament Sunday. The event, hosted by Florida State, concluded with final rounds of singles competition.

The Hawkeyes faced off against Florida State in day three. Sophomore Sonja Molnar and senior Merel Beelen were both successful on the court. Molnar downed Francesca Segarelli of Florida State, 6-2, 6-2, and Beelen dominated Plamena Kurteva of Auburn, 6-1, 6-0.

Iowa’s next competition is October 22-27 at the Midwest Regionals.
