IOWA CITY, Iowa — The University of Iowa baseball team will host its sixth annual “Iowa Baseball Golf Outing” Friday, Sept. 2 at Blue Top Ridge Golf Course located at the Riverside Casino & Resort in Riverside, Iowa.
The event will be held the day prior to the Iowa football season opener versus Tennessee Tech and former Iowa baseball head coach Duane Banks’ induction into the National Iowa Varsity Club and University of Iowa Athletics Department Hall of Fame.
The format is a four-person best ball with a 1 p.m. shotgun start. The entry fee is $125 per person or $500 per foursome, which includes green fees, range balls, cart, dinner and an appreciation gift. Flight and raffle prizes will be awarded. Proceeds will benefit the University of Iowa baseball team.
