RIVERSIDE, Iowa — The University of Iowa baseball team hosted its annual golf outing Friday at Blue Top Ridge in Riverside. The event drew 33 foursomes to support the Hawkeyes.
“This has developed into a great event,” said UI head coach Jack Dahm at the start of the outing. “We had a great response this year. Thanks to the people at Blue Top Ridge and all of you, this is a first-class event.”
Former UI head Duane Banks was in attendance, along with a number of former players including Danan Hughes, Ryan Durant and Wes Frie.
