Baseball's Home-Opening Series Called Off

IOWA CITY, Iowa — The University of Iowa baseball team’s home-opening, three-game series against Nebraska-Omaha, which was scheduled to be held at Duane Banks Field on Friday through Sunday, has been cancelled.

The series will be moved to a different location and will be contested on Saturday, Sunday and Monday. The specifics will be released once finalized.

The Hawkeyes are riding a three-game winning streak that has improved their overall record to 7-6 on the season.
