IOWA CITY, Iowa — University of Iowa softball program will play four of its eight Big Ten series at Bob Pearl Field in Iowa City in 2015. Five of the team’s conference opponents — Michigan, Wisconsin, Nebraska, Minnesota and Northwestern — competed in the postseason in 2014.
The Hawkeyes kick off their conference slate with a home series against conference newcomer Maryland before heading to Michigan for their week two set.
Iowa welcomes Illinois in week three before hitting the road for the next two series at Wisconsin and Purdue. After a midweek doubleheader with Nebraska at Pearl Field, the Hawkeyes take on Minnesota in Minneapolis.
The team returns to Iowa City to close out the Big Ten regular season with a series against Northwestern.
