IOWA CITY, Iowa — Four University of Iowa wrestlers received byes when the final tournament brackets were drawn Friday at the 2016 Big Ten Wrestling Championships at Carver-Hawkeye Arena.
Thomas Gilman, Cory Clark, Brandon Sorensen, and Alex Meyer were drawn to the quarterfinals of their respective brackets.
Brody Grothus, Edwin Cooper, Jr., Patrick Rhoads, Sammy Brooks, Nathan Burak, and Sam Stoll compete in the opening round beginning at 10 a.m. (CT). Doors open 90 minutes prior to each season.
