IOWA CITY, Iowa – Due to the winter snowstorm that has hit Iowa City and the Midwest, Sunday’s series finale against 11th-ranked Indiana has been cancelled.
The Hawkeyes and Hoosiers split a Friday doubleheader. Indiana won the series opener, 4-2, before Iowa rode the arm of junior Brady Schanuel to a 5-1 win to earn the split. Schanuel struck out a career-high 11 Hoosiers over seven innings.
Iowa (13-8, 1-1) returns to action Wednesday, hosting Bradley at 4:05 p.m. (CT) at Duane Banks Field.
