THIS WEEK FOR THE HAWKEYES
The University of Iowa women’s tennis team ends its conference season hosting Minnesota on Friday at 3 p.m. (CT) and Wisconsin on Sunday at 12 p.m. Both matches are at the Hawkeye Tennis and Recreation Complex. Admission is free.

“Senior weekend is such a special weekend and I’m so excited to celebrate our seniors. We are looking forwad to great matches at home with our family and friends who are all out to support the Hawkeyes.” 

HAWKEYES AT HOME
The Hawkeyes are 5-2 at home this season, their only two losses at home were to two ranked teams (No. 37 Michigan and No. 27 Ohio State). Three of their wins came via shut out (Northern Iowa, Marquette, and Bradley). 

SENIORS SIGN OUT 
Iowa’s four seniors, Montana Crawford, Zoe Douglas, Adrienne Jensen, and Anastasia Reimchen will be recognized this weekend for thier dedication to the Hawkeyes.  

Crawford has shown great improvements every season earning a consistent spot in the lineup. Along with playing tennis, she also is involved in the Iowa Symphony as a violinist. She was a Fuel Up to Play 60 volunteer, and has earned the PCA Medallion from 2014-18. 

Douglas has played in over 200 matches for the Hawkeyes, and has been ranked as high as No. 92 in singles and No. 41 in doubles. The team captain has been involved in the Penneau Leadership Training, was an ISAAC representative, led the team with the highest GPA, and was awarded the PCA Medallion from 2015-18. 

Jensen joined the Iowa lineup this season and has been an exciting addition to the team. 

Reimchen has played in over 200 matches for the Hawkeyes, and has been ranked as high as No. 47 in doubles. Off the court she has been involved in the Penneau Leadership Training and was a volunteer for the Fuel up to Play 60.

TAKING ON THE GOLDEN GOPHERS
Friday’s match is the 61st meeting between Iowa and Minnesota. The Hawkeyes trail the Gophers in the all-time series, 38-22. Iowa defeated Minnesota last season, 4-2. 

TAKING ON THE BADGERS
Sunday’s match is the 51st between Iowa and Wisconsin. The Badgers lead the all-time series, 40-10. Iowa beat the Badgers last season, 6-1.
