IOWA CITY, Iowa — The University of Iowa baseball team is adding a May 1 midweek game to its 2018 schedule. The Hawkeyes will host Missouri at Duane Banks Field beginning at 3:05 p.m. (CT).
The previously scheduled May 1 contest against Western Illinois will be pushed back to May 2. The start time will remain at 6:05 p.m.
Iowa and Missouri will meet for the first time since 1997 when the Tigers won two games in Columbia. Iowa swept a three-game series at Mizzou in 1995. The Tigers lead the all-time series, 27-12.
The Tigers are 25-12 overall and 6-9 in SEC play. Mizzou currently has an RPI of 36.
