IOWA CITY, Iowa — Hawkeye Wrestling Club members Thomas Gilman and Alli Ragan have accepted invitations to their respective Final X Series in Lincoln, Nebraska, on June 9.
The Final X is a best-of-three series that determines the United States representatives for the 2018 World Championships in Budapest, Hungary, on Oct. 20-28. Gilman and Ragan’s Final X opponents will be determined at the World Team Trials in Rochester, Minnesota, on May 18-20.
Gilman and Ragan were extended invitations to the Final X finals due to their medal placements at the 2017 World Championships. Gilman was a silver medalist for the United States men’s freestyle team at 57 kg/125.5 lbs. Ragan won a silver medal at the same World Championships for the U.S. women’s freestyle team at 59 kg/130 lbs.
The Lincoln, Nebraska, Final X is contested at the Bob Devaney Center on the campus of the University of Nebraska. Exclusive live and on-demand coverage is available at FloWrestling.org, as well as on the FloSports apps on iOS, Roku and Apple TV 4.

The Lincoln Final X series is one of three Final X locations. The others include Final X in State College on June 16 and Final X at Lehigh on June 23.
The weight classes assigned to the Final X event in Lincoln are:
? Men’s freestyle weight classes (57 kg, 70 kg, 74 kg, 97 kg)
? Women’s freestyle weight classes (55 kg, 59 kg, 68 kg)
