IOWA CITY, Iowa — The University of Iowa baseball team’s three-game series against Evansville has been altered due to the threat of inclement weather this weekend in Evansville, Indiana.
The series, which was slated to begin Friday in Evansville, has been moved to Rent One Park in Marion, Illinois, beginning with a doubleheader Saturday afternoon at 1 p.m. (CT). The third and final game of the three-game series will also begin at 1 p.m. at Rent One Park.
Rent One Park is the home of the Southern Illinois Miners, a member of the independent Frontier League.
Iowa is 6-4 overall this season after taking 2-of-3 games last weekend at No. 19 Oklahoma State.
