IOWA CITY, Iowa — The University of Iowa baseball team will host its annual golf outing on Friday, May 10 at Finkbine Golf Course in Iowa City, Iowa. The four-person best shot format will begin with a 10 a.m. (CT) shotgun start.

The event will be held in conjunction with the Hawkeyes’ final home series against Michigan State, which will take place May 10-12 at Duane Banks Field. It is alumni weekend, and the program will honor its seniors prior to Sunday’s series finale.

The entry fee is $150 per person or $600 per foursome, which includes green fees, range balls, cart, lunch and an appreciation gift. Flight and raffle prizes will be awarded. Proceeds will benefit the University of Iowa baseball program.

Tee box sponsorships are available for $100, which includes tee box signage and recognition during the tournament program following golf.

For a third straight year, Launching Fore Charity, a company with a patented golf ball cannon, is teaming with Iowa baseball during the outing.  Players have the option to shoot their own golf ball upwards of 400-500 yards and use it as their shot. Launching Fore Charity owner Matt Augustine is a former player under Rick Heller at Upper Iowa.
