Soccer Sets 2020 Spring Schedule

IOWA CITY, Iowa – Head coach Dave DiIanni released the dates for the University of Iowa soccer team’s spring schedule Thursday.  The Hawkeyes will play six spring contests with four being contested in Iowa City.
 
The Hawkeyes open the spring season Feb. 29, traveling to St. Louis for a neutral site matchup against Arkansas at Creve Coeur Soccer Park.  March begins with the team hosting the Iowa Spring Cup on March 7 with Iowa State, Drake, and Missouri coming to Iowa City.  The Hawkeyes will face Drake and Missouri.
 
Following a month off from competition, Iowa will travel to Macomb, Illinois, on April 11 to face Western Illinois before hosting back-to-back games to close out the spring.  The Hawkeyes will face Iowa State on April 18 and DePaul on April 25 at the Iowa Soccer Complex.
 
The Hawkeyes are coming off a season where they won a school record 15 games and advanced to the NCAA Tournament for the second time in program history.  Iowa must replace 13 seniors from the 2019 team, including six starters.
