The University of Iowa softball team travels to Leesburg, Florida, to continue its 2024 season at The Spring Games. The Hawkeyes open with matchups against Southern Illinois and Liberty on Friday. Iowa will face Kansas and Coastal Carolina on Saturday and UC Riverside on Sunday.

LAST TIME OUT
The Hawkeyes opened the 2024 season at the NFCA Leadoff Classic where they went 3-2 on the weekend. The defeated NC State, Western Kentucky and North Carolina Central. Their losses came to Notre Dame and No. 13 Utah.
Offensively the Hawkeyes were led by the freshmen trio of Soo-Jin Berry, Jena Young and Devin Bowman. Verry was named to the all-tournament team after hitting .438 with five RBIs and four runs scored.
