IOWA CITY, Iowa – The University of Iowa baseball team welcomes Bradley to Duane Banks Field on Wednesday for a midweek matchup at 6:05 p.m. (CT). Admission is $2.
The Hawkeyes enter the contest with a 18-15 record and the Braves come into the contest with a 10-22 record. Bradley faces Eastern Illinois tonight.
As a team, Bradley is hitting .275 and its pitching staff has a 7.79 ERA. They are led by Beau Durbin with a .364 batting average, and Timmy O’Brien with 31 and Ryan Vogel and Jackson Chatterton each have 20 RBIs.
Overall, the Hawkeyes are hitting .312 as a team, while ranking 27th in the nation averaging 8.7 runs per game. The Iowa pitching staff has a 6.33 ERA and ranks sixth in the nation in strikeouts per nine innings.
Radier Tello leads the team with a .367 batting average. Davis Cop leads the team with 42 RBIs followed by Tello with 40.
Cop, Kyle Huckstorf, Andy Nelson and Sam Petersen each have five home runs and Petersen has a team high 16 stolen bases.
